Getting It

• You'll need xroottext from http://web.purplefrog.com/~thoth/xroottext.html.
• Grab root-cal
• Modify to taste. You may want to change the position of the window.
• Invoke with an option argument being the color to display as.

History

• Dec 3, 2000 - fixed issue with marking day of month for days that appear the start of the week.
• Late November - annoyed with root-tail's habit of crashing and various race conditions when reading from pipes, I searched for a replacement
• Middle of November - Initial version written using root-tail. and came up with xroottext, which reads from stdin (meaning it will properly die when the root-cal exits (like at logout)).
• Early November - I sat through a training session where someone used their Win98 machine on an overhead projector. They had the current month and next month
